IT Support Built for Inland Empire Dental Offices

When the practice software freezes or the X-ray sensor won't talk to the operatory PC, your schedule backs up in minutes. Integrity Tech supports dental offices from Rancho Cucamonga to Riverside: practice-management software, imaging, chairside computers, phones and the HIPAA safeguards that protect patient records.

Your Patient Records Are Regulated, and Your Day Runs on Them

Dental practices that bill insurance electronically are covered entities under HIPAA. The HIPAA Security Rule (45 CFR Part 164, Subpart C) requires a documented risk analysis, access controls, audit logs, backups and a contingency plan for electronic patient information. Any IT company that can see that data must sign a business associate agreement (BAA) with you.

California adds its own deadline. Since January 1, 2026, Civil Code 1798.82 (as amended by SB 446) requires businesses to notify affected California residents of a data breach within 30 calendar days of discovering it, and to send the Attorney General a sample notice within 15 days after that when more than 500 residents are affected.

HHS has also proposed the first major update to the Security Rule since 2013 (published January 6, 2025), which would make items such as multi-factor authentication, encryption and annual technology inventories explicit requirements. It is not final yet, but most of what it lists is already good practice, and we build toward it now.

What We Handle for Your Practice

Practice software support

Help with the servers and workstations behind common practice management and imaging systems: updates, database backups, slow-performance fixes and coordinating with the vendor's support line so you don't have to.

Imaging and operatory networks

Wired and Wi-Fi networks sized for intraoral sensors, panoramic and CBCT files, and the bridge software that sends images into the chart.

Backups you've actually tested

Encrypted local and offsite backups of the practice database and image store, with scheduled test restores and a written result you can show an auditor.

Ransomware protection

Endpoint protection, email filtering, patching and after-hours security monitoring, so an attack on a Saturday doesn't wait until Monday.

HIPAA risk analysis help

We walk through the Security Rule safeguards with you, document what's in place, and give you a prioritized fix list. We sign a BAA with every healthcare client.

Phones and front desk

VoIP phone systems, call recording options, e-fax and reliable front-desk PCs and printers.

New office and remodel setup

Cabling, network closet, operatory PCs and moving your server or cloud data when you open a second location.

We sign a BAA, document passwords and vendors, and set up monitoring.
4

Ongoing support

Help desk calls answered by our Rancho Cucamonga team Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with after-hours security monitoring.
5

Quarterly check-in

Backup test results, patch status and anything your practice software vendor is changing.

Local Help When the Schedule Is Full

There are more than 1,600 dental offices within 20 miles of our office, according to U.S. Census business data (ZIP Business Patterns, 2022). We're based at 9439 Archibald Ave in Rancho Cucamonga, and we offer same-day on-site support to practices across the Inland Empire when a problem can't be fixed remotely.

Dental IT: Common Questions

Will you sign a business associate agreement?

Yes. Any IT provider that can access electronic patient information has to sign a BAA under HIPAA, and we sign one with every dental client before we start.

Do you support our practice management and imaging software?

We support the servers, workstations, networks and backups that common practice management and imaging systems run on, and we work directly with the software vendor's support team on application issues.

How often should we test our backups?

At least quarterly, and after any major software update. A backup only counts if it can be restored. We run the test and give you a written result.

What happens if we get ransomware?

We isolate affected computers, restore from clean backups and help you document the incident. California generally requires notifying affected patients within 30 calendar days of discovery, and HIPAA has its own breach notification rules, so speed matters.

Is our practice too small for managed IT?

No. Many of the practices we work with have one location and a handful of operatories. The risks and the HIPAA requirements are the same regardless of size.
